My Review:
This story is fantastic, and so rich!
Now, Lia is no longer just a runaway, she’s a prisoner of the Vendan Komizar. Rafe and Kaden continue to protect her, but now, in the Vendan stronghold, everything is so much more complicated.
What I love most about this story is how rich the world building is. The history, the prophecies, the magic, all are just so spot on. And when you add in the romance, it’s just excellent. Even with Lia’s preference between her suitors known, it’s still hard to take sides.
I also enjoyed the continuity in the audiobook performances.
Overall, I loved this story and would strongly recommend it to fans of epic fantasy. This story is a leap above standard fantasy fiction.
