My Review:
The History Major: A Novella is short, but suspenseful. There’s a sort of nightmarish quality that really put me on edge throughout, a good thing for this sort of story. I didn’t really know what to expect going in, even after reading the description, but I think that made it better because everything was a surprise.
This is a quick read, but I took a couple of evenings to finish, so there’s plenty of meat to it, even for a shorter book. I got the vibe that this was sort of an experiment, the author playing around with an idea and a unique way of storytelling.
Overall, I really liked this story. It’s short, but everything ties together nicely. I would recommend this to fans of horror and thrills, particularly those who like a story that leaves them thinking.
